Remote-Learner Launches ELIS for Moodle

Remote-Learner is pleased to announce ELIS for Moodle, an integrated learning platform. ELIS is an acronym for Enterprise Learning Intelligence Suite. ELIS for Moodle was built in response to the needs of our clients who require an enterprise level of functionality that Moodle does not offer on its own. ELIS is not an add-on to Moodle. Moodle is part of ELIS; the course management part. ELIS is a suite of learning applications that allows an organization to manage its entire learning enterprise.

ELIS core can be supplemented with options needed to support learners in K-12, Post-Secondary and Corporate/Government learning environments. ELIS consists of four core systems, integrating seamlessly with each other and Moodle:

ELIS leverages Remote-Learner's partnerships with Jasper Soft business intelligence suite and the Alfresco content management system repository. Remote-Learner is pleased to announce that ELIS is being released under the GPL open source license. An ELIS annual support contract can be added as an option to most Remote-Learner hosting solutions. ELIS support can also be added to a Platinum Level Support contract for organizations hosting their own Moodle site and it can be pre-installed on R-L's Moodle Appliance Server.
