Online learning content can only be considered as useful as a learner's ability to get to it, and navigate through it. If a learner struggles to navigate their way within learning activities in a course, the usefulness of the content is compromised as learners typically do not stay engaged through completion. Remote-Learner brings to each client project almost 3 decades of knowledge and understanding of best practices in modern pedagogical approaches for effective online learning.

Engage-ability

As a best practice Remote-Learner provides every available effort, within the given budget, to keep online learners engaged and participating within the online learning environment until all objectives are met. The crafting of truly relevant e-learning interactions is a specialized skill, and a talent. It cannot be achieved with off-the-shelf e-learning authorware alone. The most relevant e-learning interactions result from a creative collaboration of subject matter experts (SME) and instructional designers (ID). The process begins with scope investigation between Remote-Learner ID staff and your SME's to develop a course syllabus, outlining learning objectives and desired outcomes. Once these are established appropriate learning activities are prototyped and tested to see if they meet goals and expectations.

Rapid Development

A combination of strict adherence to established project management principles and the use of popular tools for course creation ensures your project will move through the development process quickly, and stay within budget. Remote-Learner ensures the portability of your content once a project is completed. We are an open source company and strive to prevent any form of vendor lock-in.

Affordability

Because Remote-Learner has had extensive experience in developing learning content over the past three decades it understands constraints organizations are usually under in terms of budgets and turn-around times. Our pricing is factored on an hourly basis ($140hr.) and is determined from a detailed statement of work (SoW) developed from the scope investigation process, and signed by both parties. This is our pledge to you that we will deliver what you want, at an agreed upon price and within an agreed upon time framework.
