Our SaaS cloud hosting options are fully managed, giving you the assurance that professional help is behind your online learning program. Hosting Support options include Moodle, our ELIS Platform, Mahara, Kaltura and other popular open source educational technologies needed in K-12, Post-Secondary and Corporate or Governmental learning environments.
Remote-Learner’s Moodle Private Cloud Service (MPCS) provides an individual virtualized server for every hosting client. The size of your server depends on the number of users you plan to have access the server at the same time. Each virtual CPU (vcpu) can support up to 150 users accessing your site per minute. For a typical school, college or business we estimate about 5% of the total user population will access the site at peak usage. Schools with 1:1 laptop programs, virtual labs and other special uses will usually require a higher level of concurrency.
With MPCS, Remote-learner can provide Moodle hosting and support for 100 learners or scale to 100,000 or more users. We’ve defined a number of standard systems for sites up to 20,000 users and can configure larger systems to meet any need. Standard system services include the following features for our Basic, Enterprise and Premiere categories (B-E-P).

Remote-Learner has teamed up with Red Hat Linux and is deploying Enterprise Virtualization Advanced Platform, which will provide a state of the art hosting experience for all of our clients. Every client will be hosted in its own dedicated virtual machine instance and will be able to provision just the resources they need with our various hosting options.
