Online Moodle Course: Moodle Administration
Moodle Administration is Remote-Learner's new online course offering for individuals tasked with Moodle site setup and day-to-day user and course management. This four-week asynchronous course has been designed to meet the needs of Moodle administrators at all levels allowing for a wide variety of site needs and configurations.
Through the course, participants will first be introduced to basic Moodle navigation, terminology, and community resources. These activities will be followed by scenario-based lessons that will guide participants through real-world examples, common issues, and decision-making processes related to Moodle site settings. With these scenarios, participants will learn about the more important and frequently used administrative settings and features of Moodle. This information is further reinforced and enhanced with discussions in which participants can discuss the impact of various settings and relevant concerns with their peers in the course.
During the course, and for two months following, participants will be provided with their own sandbox Moodle site to allow them to explore, experiment and apply the information presented in the course.
Participants should plan to spend approximately four to six hours each week completing course activities. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Course Completion Certificate.
Note: Registration for Moodle Administration includes one free seat in our Orientation to Moodle Administration Elluminate session. Details will be included in the course.
Participants will learn to:
- Navigate the Moodle Site Administration menu and utilize community resources.
