Ready to move beyond the basics? This four-week facilitated online course picks up where the Foundations of Moodle Course Development course ends. You'll explore what is considered Moodle's most interesting features and practice using more advanced components of Moodle's core tools, all while building in your personal Moodle sandbox (provided). As you learn, Remote-Learner's Moodle experts will answer your questions, provide feedback and moderate discussions.

Topics you will learn about in our Intermediate Moodle Course Development course include:

    * Utilizing glossaries to provide quick, organized access to terminology and resources.
    * Constructing wikis to facilitate collaboration and leverage learner's collective experiences.
    * Creating groups and groupings to manage learners and differentiate instruction.
    * Using advanced quiz features to more efficiently create quizzes and improve quiz security.
    * Developing lessons to deliver content that adapts to the responses of the learner.
    * Using SCORM packages to deliver content in Moodle.
    * Tracking student activity and evaluating the value of course resources through Moodle's reports.
    * Defining custom scales, weighting grades, and other advanced gradebook functionality.

Course activities can be completed in 4 to 6 hours each week and can generally be completed any time during the week.

Note: We highly recommend completing our Foundations of Moodle Course Development course before beginning the Intermediate course, unless you currently have a good working knowledge of Moodle.
