Remote-Learner has selected Red Hat's RHEL Advanced Platform Virtualization technology to deploy in its Overland Park Kansas data center. Rollout will be completed in February 2010 states CEO Bryan Williams, bringing our customers significant cost savings, security, scalability and uptime guarantees going forward.  Remote-Learner has used Linux in all four of its US and Canadian data centers over the past 6 years, our technicians understand this operating system very well. Rollout in Remote-Learner's other two data centers will be completed by June.

Jonathan Moore, VP Business Development states Red Hat's latest RHEL-AP platform brings a new level of capability in terms of what we can offer our clients. Remote-Learner hosting clients will now be running in high availability mode within their own secure virtualized environment. This differs from earlier virtualization schemes, used by some providers, where each client is essentially running on shared services. In that scheme one client can bring down the entire cluster. Red Hat has provided its platform for the Amazon Elastic Cloud since 2006 and is the most experienced vendor today in virtualized technology. Remote-Learner is pleased to offer its customers this same platform for learning services. See About Our Hosting story under Hosting Services for more details.
